Adrienne Tybjerg recently received a BA in painting at Massachusetts College of Art, but developed her early style amidst the breathtaking beauty of Muscongus Bay, Maine.

Her works include watercolor, acrylic, and pencil on canvas, paper, and photographic prints.

She has shown at the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Attleboro Museum of Art, and galleries and exhibitions around Boston and has been lauded for her sensitive and subtle technique.

Although her specialty has been landscape and ocean scenes, she has also been working with architecture and enclosed spaces, as well as abstractions.

Her style often involves an exploration of energetically arresting aspects of an otherwise ordinary scene or familiar surroundings. Her paintings also investigate how light, emotions and evoked memories transform our perception of space.
